Structural Steel Fabrication
Certified to EN 1090 EXC3

Load-bearing frames, platforms, stairs, roof trusses and equipment bases, fabricated at our Konya plant under EN 1090-2 with factory production control (FPC) and CE marking.

What Steel Structures Do We Fabricate?

Fabricated to your structural design and shop drawings. Every member is traced by serial number; material certificates, WPS and NDT records are part of the delivery file. Members are fabricated at our Konya plant and shipped ready for erection; site erection itself is not part of our scope.

Frames

Load-Bearing Frames and Portals

Columns, beams and portal frames for industrial warehouses and factory buildings. S235–S355 J2+N, EXC2/EXC3.

Roof

Roof Trusses and Lattice Systems

Roof trusses, space frames and purlins. Typical span 6–24 m.

Platform

Platforms, Mezzanines and Stairs

Service platforms, mezzanines, gallery stairs and handrails, delivered ready to install with grating and treads.

Base

Equipment Bases and Machine Frames

Bases for process equipment, transformer and generator skids, conveyor supports; holes and plates prepared to the anchor plan.

Energy

Energy Structures

PV mounting structures, wind-turbine service platforms, switchyard frames; optionally hot-dip galvanised.

Bridge

Footbridges and Special Structures

Short-span footbridges, chimney internals, flue ducts and project-specific steel structures.

Standards and Scope

Our EN 1090-2 factory production control certificate covers execution classes up to EXC3. Execution class, material and acceptance criteria are fixed in writing at the quotation stage.

From Design to Delivery

01

Technical Review

Structural design and shop drawings are reviewed; execution class, weld details and the bill of materials are confirmed. Quote within 48 hours.

02

Material and Cutting

Sections and plates are sourced with EN 10204 3.1 certificates and heat numbers are matched to the part list. Cutting and drilling follow ArmaWeld's cutting plan.

03

Welded Fabrication

Fabricated in fixtures by qualified welders to approved WPS; long seams on the 35 m submerged arc line. Every weld is traced to its welder and WPS.

04

Inspection, Surface and Delivery

NDT and dimensional checks are done in-house; DFT is recorded after blasting, painting or galvanising. The CE Declaration of Performance (DoP) and document file ship with the goods.

Structural Steel FAQ

What does EN 1090 EXC3 certification mean?

EN 1090-2 is the mandatory production standard for placing steel structural components on the market with CE marking. EXC3 is the execution class for structures in the higher consequence class; ArmaWeld's certificate covers all classes from EXC1 to EXC3.

Do you prepare the structural design?

Production follows the customer's approved structural design and shop drawings. Our mechanical engineers review the shop drawings for manufacturability and weld details and propose weld detail and fixture improvements.

Which documents come with the delivery?

CE Declaration of Performance (DoP), EN 10204 3.1 material certificates, WPS/WPQR, welder certificates, NDT reports, dimensional report and paint or galvanising thickness records. The whole file also stays in the customer portal.

Which surface protection options are available?

ISO 12944 C4–C5 paint systems after Sa 2½ blasting, or hot-dip galvanising. Surface treatment is carried out at partner facilities audited to ArmaWeld's specification; DFT measurements go into the document file.

Do you export structural steel to Europe?

Yes. Our EN 1090 FPC certificate and CE-marked production are suitable for the EU market. We serve export customers with an English document file, EXW or DAP delivery options and live tracking in the customer portal.
