Production Process: From Drawing to Delivery
01

Technical Review & Quote

We review the drawing or sample, define material group, welding process (MIG/MAG or TIG), tolerances and documentation, then prepare the quote.

02

WPS Selection & Production Plan

An approved welding procedure (WPS/WPQR) is selected and a production plan with welding sequence and inspection points is drawn up.

03

Welding & NDT

Qualified welders carry out MIG/MAG or TIG welding, and the required NDT (UT, MT, PT, VT) is applied.

04

Muayene & Teslimat

After dimensional checks, visual inspection and quality records are complete, parts ship with the manufacturing documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is contract welded fabrication?

It is contract production in which the welding company builds parts to the customer's drawings or samples using its own equipment and qualified welders. ArmaWeld provides it with approved WPS under EN 1090 and ISO 3834-2.

Is there a minimum order quantity for project-based fabrication?

ArmaWeld handles both single prototypes and series production. There is no minimum order quantity (MOQ); the production plan follows the project's requirements.

What is the difference between MIG/MAG and TIG welding?

MIG/MAG (ISO 4063: 135/136) is ideal for productive series work and is preferred for structural steel. TIG (ISO 4063: 141) gives superior quality on stainless steel, aluminium and thin-wall precision parts. ArmaWeld uses both with approved WPS and qualified welders.

Which documents do you provide for contract welding?

EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality certificate, EN 1090 EXC3 execution class certificate, approved WPS/WPQR, welder qualification certificates and, on request, NDT reports (UT, MT, PT).

Which industries do you serve?

We provide contract welded fabrication and project-based solutions to manufacturers in machinery, construction and steel structures, agricultural machinery, defence, energy, hydraulics and special industrial equipment.

// 03 · BENDING

Bending and Forming.

Sheet and profile parts are brought to target geometry through V/U bending, cylindrical and profile shaping. Every bend is planned with angle simulation, neutral-axis calculation and springback compensation. For multi-bend parts, bend allowance analysis is prepared by the engineering team.

// 05 · NDT

NDT / Non-Destructive Testing.

Weld quality is not assessed by surface appearance alone. At ArmaWeld every critical weld is inspected beyond visual testing (VT): penetrant (PT) or magnetic particle (MT) for surface cracks, ultrasonic (UT) or radiographic (RT) inspection for internal defects.

  • VT — Visual Testing (EN ISO 17637)
  • PT — Liquid Penetrant (EN ISO 3452)
