Which Chassis and Booms Do We Build?

From your drawing, your sample or by reverse engineering. From single prototype to series batches; every module is traced by serial number.

Trailer

Trailer and Lowbed Chassis Modules

Main chassis, longitudinal beams and cross members; approved WPS in S690QL and S960QL, with straightness and dimensional repeatability over long lengths.

Crane

Mobile Crane Booms and Chassis

Telescopic boom box sections, crane girders and outrigger assemblies; controlled weld sequence and distortion monitoring for fatigue loading.

Excavator

Excavator Booms, Arms and Front Frames

Booms and arms, buckets and quick couplers, front frames and counterweight frames; buffer layers and low-hydrogen consumables for HARDOX and Strenx.

Agri

Agricultural Trailer and Machine Frames

Trailer chassis, combine and farm machinery carrier beams; repeatable quality in series batches.

Machine

Machine Frames and Main Bodies

Frames, main bodies, chassis and bases for machine and equipment builders; welded structures ready for machining and assembly.

Body

Vehicle Bodies and Superstructures

Welded superstructures for trailers and vehicles, loading bodies and rear bumpers.

Materials and Processes

Each material group has its own WPS, preheat protocol and consumable selection. Interpass temperature is measured and recorded on the work order.

How We Work

01

Technical Review

Your DWG, DXF, STEP or PDF drawing is reviewed for manufacturability, weld details and fixturing; material and WPS are selected. Quote within 48 hours.

02

Sample and First Article Approval

The first module is submitted for your approval with its dimensional report and NDT; series production starts after approval.

03

Welding in Fixtures

Long longitudinal seams are welded in one setup on the 35 m submerged arc line; fillet and positional welds with MAG/FCAW. Current, voltage and speed are recorded for every weld.

04

Inspection, Paint and Dispatch

NDT and dimensional checks in-house; blasting and painting at a partner facility to ArmaWeld's specification. Material certificates, WPS, NDT and dimensional reports in the delivery file.

Who Do We Build For?

Manufacturers with their own assembly line who want to source the welded module externally:

Chassis and Boom FAQ

Do you weld high-strength steels such as S690QL and S960QL?

Yes. We hold WPQRs qualified to EN ISO 15614-1 for S690QL, S960QL, Strenx 700/960 and S700MC. Preheat follows EN 1011-2, H5-class consumables are used and interpass temperature is recorded for every weld.

What does the 35 m submerged arc line bring to chassis fabrication?

Longitudinal beams and box sections are welded in one setup with constant parameters. Fewer start-stop points, a homogeneous seam and better straightness over long lengths, with no repositioning time.

Can you deliver the chassis module painted and ready for assembly?

Yes. Cutting, bending, welding, machining, blasting and painting are planned under one contract; operations done at partner facilities pass ArmaWeld's incoming inspection. The module is delivered to go straight into your assembly line.

Can you produce a chassis without existing drawings?

Yes. We measure your existing part and prepare the shop drawing and WPS; parts to be revised are redesigned by reverse engineering. Production starts after you approve the drawing.

Do you supply chassis and booms to manufacturers in Europe?

Yes. We produce for machine and equipment builders in Europe under EN 1090 and EN ISO 3834-2, with an English document file. EXW or DAP delivery options are offered in the quote and order status is tracked live in the customer portal.
